Fast n Safe PC Shutdown

Does Your Windows System takes a lot time to Shutdown ?? Really ?? Hmmmm seems you have a Bunch of Porn in Your Hard Disk !! Common Delete it Immediately, Else your PC s gonna crash due to overloaded Video Cache size .... Lolzz :D Hey chill .. Just kidding .. Happy April Fool Day to Everyone.
Today is My second exam, n Whole nite after Doing time-pass on PC..... While turning it Off i Found that it was Stuck :/ n taking Tym, So i Restarted again n Nw posting this Article for you ....

Fast n Proper PC Shutdown
Its a simple Registry Hack, what we are Doing is just Creating a Registry File to Edit some vales to Auto End Background Tasks n to Enable a Fast n Proper Shutdown :) This reg file automatically ends tasks and timeouts that prevent programs from shutting down and clears the Paging File on Exit.


* Create Backup of the Following Paths

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management
HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop 
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control

* Copy the following (everything in the box) into a New notepad file.


Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management]
"ClearPageFileAtShutdown"=dword:00000001

[HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Control Panel\Desktop]
"AutoEndTasks"="1"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control]
"WaitToKillServiceTimeout"="1000"



* Save the file as shutdown.reg
* Double click the file to import into your registry.

NOTE: If your anti-virus software warns you of a "malicious" script, this is normal if you have "Script Safe" or similar technology enabled.

[Update: Hey If u got some problems, You can do Manually by Selecting Specific Values .....]

    Cannot import C:\documents and settings\Manav\Desktop\Mix_fruit\shutdown.reg :

    The specied file is not registry script .

    you can only import binary registry files from within the registry editor

    so , wht should i do , please help me . . . .

    Did You Copy the Code properly ? Just try once again... I have updated some changes .... Copy Paste the code in White box into a Notepad File n Save As --> shutdown.reg

    now lets see . . . . i havn`t restared my pc yet . . . . comment u tomorrow . . . .
    actually , i also copied the word " QUOTE "

    are sun na i m unable to get a back up for the above mention path . . . . please suggest me

    and btw wht do u do , i mean student of which year and which field . . . .
